CADI is a European Erasmus+ (KA220-ADU) co-funded project operated by partners in Germany, Portugal, Türkiye. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, where applicable, the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

1. Data Controller

We collect only the data necessary to provide our services:

  • Account data: name, email address, password (hashed)
  • Course progress and completion records
  • Contact form submissions: name, email, message
  • Technical data: IP address, session information (for security and operation)

  • Contract: Account and course access when you register.
  • Consent: When you explicitly agree (e.g. privacy policy acceptance, optional communications).
  • Legitimate interest: Security, fraud prevention, platform operation.

Your data is used to: provide course access, track progress, issue certificates, respond to inquiries, and ensure platform security and compliance.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary. Account and progress data is kept while your account is active. After account deletion or prolonged inactivity, data is anonymised or deleted in line with our retention policy.

You have the right to:

  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Request erasure ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict processing
  • Data portability (export in machine-readable format)
